One of the few opposition players to be applauded from the pitch at the Vic, Keigan Parker was the best player on display as Blackpool routed Martin Scott`s Pools side 3-0 - a day that proved the final straw for Scott`s tenure as manager. Three years later, with Chris Turner now in charge on a caretaker basis, Pools found themselves short of strikers. James Brown and Joel Porter were both injured while loan signings Rune Lange and Daniel Nardiello had joined them on the sidelines. Turner acted to secure the services of Parker, now at Huddersfield Town, on a short-term loan.
Parker won a penalty in his first match for Pools but he struggled to make much of an impact beyond that, and was out of the side as his loan spell ended.
