Haigh was one of the stars of the youth team during 2004/05 and 2005/06, and his performances were enough to earn him a professional contract. After a bad injury setback he went on to establish himself as a regular for the reserve team, and played a key role as the second string won their league in 2007/08. He didn`t progress any further through the ranks and was released in May 2008 without having made a first team appearance.
