One of Neale Cooper`s first signings, former Bristol City and Cardiff centre-half Andy Jordan made his Pools debut in a memorable 4-3 win at Peterborough on the opening day of the 2003/04 season. He managed just three more league starts as Cooper preferred to play Michael Nelson and Chris Westwood in a 4-4-2 formation, and Jordan found himself out of the first team picture after a poor display at Stockport. He is the son of the former Scotland striker, Joe Jordan.
