Watling close to exit
Barry Watling's time at Pools looked to be drawing to a close as, for the second time in a couple of months, Ken Hale allowed the keeper to join another club on loan. Having briefly represented Chester, Watling now joined Rotherham. He didn't play another game for Pools before leaving, permanently this time, to join Sheffield Wednesday.
