Pools sign Quakers keeper |
Durham-born goalkeeper Martin Burleigh spent six patient years at St James Park as understudy to WIlle McFaul before moving to Darlington for the first of two spells in 1974. Pools paid the Quakers £8000 for his services in October 1979 and he went on to play almost 100 games for the club. He later played for Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor |
