Horne out in the cold
Goalkeeper Brian Horne was a popular figure with the terraces, though was not highly rated by player-manager Keith Houchen. Things came to a head in a game at Priestfield that saw Horne substituted during the game after an on-field falling out with Houchen. The former Millwall man never played for the club again.
