Pools look to the future
David Foley makes his debut against Port Vale. At just 16 years and 44 days, Foley became the youngest player in Hartlepool United's history. He remained a fringe player for much of his time at the club, but had a knack of scoring against quality opposition. His finest moment was a stunning 20-yarder as Pools beat Premier League Stoke City.
