Rakish Bingham came through the youth system at Wigan Athletic, and had a loan spell at Falkirk before being released. He signed for Mansfield Town in the summer of 2014 and made eleven league appearances for the Stags in the first half of the 2014/15, including a brief but busy run out from the bench against Pools on Boxing Day. The young forward must have made an impression on Pools boss Ronnie Moore because a week later he was on his way to Victoria Park on a loan deal for the rest of the season. Bingham injected some pace and energy into a forward line that had been acutely lacking in that department. He played an important role in the home wins against Cheltenham and Plymouth, scoring in the first of those games. Unfortunately for Pools fans his stay at the Vic was a short one, with Mansfield exercising a recall clause in his loan deal after just five appearances.
