| Concerned that Pools might be a little "too nice" in midfield, Danny Wilson signed battle-hardened Irishman Wille Boland, who had been released by Cardiff City. Boland was a key performer for Pools as they began their record breaking run to promotion in 2006/07, though much of his later time at Pools was ruined by a series of injury setbacks. |
